SLATTERY'S TURKEY TROT (Click for more information)
Started in 1980 as a local pub race with 150 runners, this 5-mile run has developed into the regions premier road race and fund-raiser. Over 1200 registrants including world class athletes participate to raise money for our scholarship fund. To date over $125,000 has been distributed, $12,000 this year alone (2007). Always run on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Applications are available after Labor Day at various locations and on-line.

Our series of Sunday afternoon wine dinners continue to “sell out”. These themed dinners presented in a casual atmosphere offer four courses of food paired with interesting wines accompanied by relaxed conversation with our guest speakers. Tickets to these events make great gifts and can be purchased by phone.
OKTOBERFEST
Join us beginning the third Sunday in September for three weeks of authentically prepared German dishes and a special selection of imported beers. Sauerbraten, Knockwurst and Bratwurst, Weiner Schnitzel, Goulash and homemade desserts…You won’t want to leave!

Come join us the third Thursday in November as we celebrate the first taste of this young French wine along with an authentic Bistro menu.

Thanksgiving wouldn’t be the same without stopping in to meet old friends the “nite before”. Great food and fun plus free turkey sandwiches kick off the holiday weekend.
